Story Behind Kosicov

I created Kosicov Studio because I couldn’t quite find what I was looking for.

For a long time, I searched for art that could gently bridge a practical, modern home with a more considered, designer sensibility. Much of what I encountered felt familiar and overrepresented—pieces that made a statement, but didn’t always contribute to a sense of ease or visual balance.

When I explored higher-end galleries, I found beautiful spaces filled with impressive work. Yet they often felt distant or inaccessible, focused on techniques and terminology rather than the lived experience of home. What I was really searching for was simpler:

How does it feel to walk through your door after a long day and finally exhale?

At Kosicov Studio, we believe art doesn’t need to be explained to be meaningful. It should simply belong—quietly supporting your space and giving your eyes somewhere to rest.
